​Bedroom Upgrades


The bedroom is where we spend nearly a third of our lives, yet for many people it not something they feel is worth much of their thought. They sleep, wake, and exit quickly. However, taking the time to turn your bedroom into a comfortable and luxurious experience can quickly help you realize what you are missing. Not only is comfort while sleeping incredibly important, but helping you feel more relaxed and happier during the whole process will mean that you can extend your well being into the day. If you do not sleep well, you will be much less able to have happy productive days consistently, and your sleep quality will be affected by your mental comfort level.

Additionally, many people worry that upgrading their bedroom experience will be terribly expensive. Considering again that you spend a third of your life asleep, I am not sure that people really give sleep the budget it deserves. But regardless, there are many things you can do to increase your comfort level dramatically for a reasonable price.

  • 1.Throw Pillows. Adding extra pillows to the bed and area can be very useful depending on how you sleep. Used properly, they can help to provide more structure for your head and neck while you sleep and can also improve the aesthetic. Walking in and seeing artfully designed and soft squares will help your mind to begin to relax.
  • 2.Rugs. Thick luxurious rugs at the foot of the bed and beside where you lay down are great ways to make any bedroom instantly feel more comfortable. The last thing you feel before slipping between the sheets and the first thing your feet touch in the morning, these will set the tone for the whole day.
  • 3.Upgrade your sheets. Looking for some high-quality luxurious sheets to put on your bed is a great way to increase comfort. For the most part, quilts and comforters function without much need for comfort, but having high quality clean and refreshing sheets on your skin will drastically increase your ability to relax and feel comfortable.
  • 4.Darken the Room. Add blackout curtains and some light dampening material and you can help to isolate your room into a place where you will not be disturbed. If you can control the environment to be tranquil and without things to wake you, you can help make sure that your sleep is excellent every single night.
